Getting Started
How do I sign up?
Click "Get Started Free" on any page. You will be asked to create an account with your email address. No credit card is required — your 30-day free trial starts immediately.
How do I invite family members?
Once you have created a household, go to Settings and select "Household Members." Enter an email address or share an invite link. Members will receive an invitation to join your household.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. Every new household gets a full 30-day free trial with access to all features. No credit card is required to start.
What devices are supported?
Wicked Smart HQ is a web application that works in any modern browser on desktop, tablet, and mobile devices. A responsive design ensures a great experience on every screen size.
Account & Billing
How much does it cost?
The Household Plan is $7.99 per month or $79.90 per year (about 17% savings). This includes up to 8 household members and all features. Additional members are $1 per member per month.
Can I cancel anytime?
Absolutely. There are no contracts or cancellation fees. Cancel from your account settings and you will keep access through the end of your current billing period.
How do I upgrade or downgrade?
You can switch between monthly and annual billing at any time from your account settings. Changes take effect at the start of your next billing period.
What payment methods are accepted?
We accept all major credit and debit cards including Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover, processed securely through our payment provider.
Features
How do I import recipes?
You can import recipes by pasting a URL from any recipe website, uploading a photo of a recipe card, or entering the details manually. The app will automatically extract ingredients, steps, and nutritional information when possible.
Can I share recipes publicly?
Yes. Any recipe in your collection can be shared to the Community Library with one click. Other Wicked Smart HQ users can then discover and save your recipe, with full attribution to you as the author.
How does the shopping list sync work?
Shopping lists sync in real time across all household members. When someone adds, checks off, or removes an item, every other member sees the change instantly — even if you are in different locations.
How does weather work?
The dashboard shows a local weather forecast based on your household location. You can set your location in household settings. Weather data refreshes automatically throughout the day.
Privacy & Security
How is my data protected?
All data is encrypted in transit using TLS and at rest using AES-256 encryption. We follow industry best practices for security and regularly audit our infrastructure.
Can I export my data?
Yes. You can export your bills, recipes, and shopping lists at any time. Bills export as CSV files, and recipes can be exported individually or in bulk.
How do I delete my account?
You can delete your account from the Account Settings page. This will permanently remove all of your data from our servers. Please note that this action cannot be undone.
Is it safe for kids?
Yes. Household admins can set age-appropriate permissions for each member. Kids and teens can view schedules and check off tasks without having access to billing information or account settings.
